Core Workflows

Find duplicate or low-usage subscriptions

Long-term savings usually come from continuously clearing redundant and low-usage services.

What counts as a duplicate subscription

Duplicates are not always identical products. They can also be services with heavy overlap, such as:

  • Two paid cloud storage tools
  • Multiple long-running video memberships
  • Two AI tools renewing at the same time while only one gets regular use

What counts as low usage

Start with a simple standard:

  • Very few uses in the last 30 days
  • Inconsistent or unpredictable use cases
  • Little impact on work or daily life if paused

Which group to handle first

Prioritize subscriptions that are both low-usage and replaceable. They are usually the fastest way to reduce spend with the lowest decision cost.

Useful review questions

  1. How many times did I actually use this in the last month?
  2. Do I already have another service doing the same job?
  3. Would pausing it for a month noticeably affect me?

Do not try to clear everything at once

A steadier approach is to review only two or three suspicious subscriptions at a time. Consistency beats one massive cleanup.
